Had a chance to go out paint again last Sunday, October 18 2026. The group decided to revisit the Ambrose Carson City Natural Area. I, however, stopped on the road about 1/8th of a mile from the Ambrose parking lot. There was a turnout and an awesome view. Since my car was there, I sat in the shade of my trunk, and had a place to put out my paints. As you can see, the fall colors have set in, but the change is not complete. The trees are definitely not in agreement. Some leaves remain as green as can be. I am enjoying the mild days and not too cold mornings. Hopefully, I will get to continue to paint until the winter sets in. This latest piece brings the total of 9 pieces from the area. I am hoping to show them in person when I get to 12 or so.
