This week the weather was getting ready to change, so the group I paint with decided to stay low and local. One intriguing spot we have wanted to paint for awhile is at the end of Old Clear Creek Road in Carson City – radical cliffs, rocky terrain, rabbitbrush, and a view of Carson City in the distance. The lighting was changing due to off and on cloudy conditions, but thankfully we were protected from the wind. Great view, and great weather. A friend who is from Carson but now lives elsewhere guessed the location without a title.
