This painting was painted on the Wednesday following the grand opening of the Bob McFadden Plaza. It was purchased by the McFadden heirs on August 20 during the Saturday Carson City Farmer’s Market. The mayor had remarked how he would have liked to have had it for City Hall, but he was beaten to the punch by two of the nicest young ladies I have ever met in Carson City.
