Had a chance to go out painting at the Ambrose Carson River Natural Area on Sunday September 13. This painting is 16″ X 20″ painted in acrylic on a black canvas. I love the skies of Northern Nevada especially this time of the year. Even a clear day produces a gradient from deep blue to a hazy blue at the horizon. he wind was manageable this week, unlike the gusts of last week where I had to literally stop painting and hold on to the canvas.
