When the Israelites crossed the Jordan river to take possession of the promised land, the were required to take 1 stone for each tribe and set them up as a permanent reminder of what God had done for them. The Israelites were commanded to teach their children what the stones represented. This painting was inspired by the Bible: and represents the Bridge Church entering downtown to take possession of what God has promised us.
