Reflection of Dominic Martinelli in window of brick house with orange door

I began taking pictures in earnest when my mom bought me a 35mm film camera: ( 1994 Minolta Dynax 500si, Maxxum 400si or Alpha 303si ). I took some very impressive shots with that camera until my wife dropped it.  As everyone knows, digital came in, and film went out.  As a graphics guy, I was pretty happy when digital cameras hit the 3-4MP range.

Here is a gallery of several of my favorite photographs.

I began truly shooting digital once cameras advanced to the 3-4 megapixel range.

I currently enjoy capturing images of Carson City and surrounding areas.

I’m currently shooting with a Canon Rebel T3i, Canon 50D with either the standard, or the 75-300mm lens an old Canon AE-1 35-80mm lens. Also using a Canon 60D with an assortment of lenses (50mm, 18-55mm, 75-300mm and a few others) Here is a link to the daily photo blog.

In case you are wondering… yes, I do shoot all the photographs used throughout this website; sometimes armed with only an iPhone. Hope you enjoy them.
